The lighting switch diagram is very hard to read.
Looking at the back of my lighting switch. I'll call the top screw at the 12 o'clock position number 1 and go clockwise.
1. Headlight and dimming coil
2. Fuse
3. ???
4. ???
5. ???
6. Dimming coil
I know the Voltage Regulator "L" terminal and tail light have to connect somewhere but, I'm not sure where.
Thanks,
Desert Dan

Re: Lighting switch wiring question
Although this is the 4 position switch, If you look, the screw terminals are numbered and the connections are the same for the 3 position switch.
#1 is the input from the power source (VR - L terminal)
#2 is the tail light connection
#3 is the headlight connection

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
