Plow Mounting Question

Postby mmann » Thu Nov 25, 2004 10:19 am

I have a dual hillside plow set up. I sure don't need to mount them both.
Can I mount only one?
Do I have to take off my sickle bar mower to mount the plow?
Can the draw bar be mounted with the sickle bar mower/pto shaft in place?
Have you ever heard of such a rank amature as me?
thanks and have a good thanksgiving.
There is no substitue for good marksmanship.

Many use only 1 of the plows. If you don't need the 2 way function it is fine to use only one. I never tried mounting the drawbar in the forward position with the sickle mower attached but I don't think it will work. I'd remove the mower.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Won't the Cub Plow Police come and club him like a baby seal if he doesn't mount both plows?

Seriously, you oughtta be able to take one look at the plows and realize you don't need to mount both of 'em.

Speaking of two ways, have you seen the ones now on e-bay? Please don't bid, I am doing that already, just look and comment.
Got a Cub and a good team of horses, nothing else I need or want except maybe another Cub and some more equipment!
