"New Treasure"

Postby IH GIRL » Fri Dec 03, 2004 4:28 pm

Hope it's okay I list this here. I am getting ready to put on the for sale section, but thought a few might want to see this, as I haven't except in books. (may not be rare, but not any around us) An origianl IH 1pt one row corn planter, complete with hopper and lid! Hope I can post this picture right, if not I will try again.

Try again on the link, I made a change, but not sure if it is the right one

I fixed it for you Jamie.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Thanks for those pictures. I recently purchased the same type planter and have been removing the rust and repainting it. Getting down to the old paint on the wheel looked like it was originally white. The retired farmer I bought it from said it hadn't been used in 15 years. He had two plates, one for corn and one for beans. I also got four sprockets for planting spacing. The hopper had a little clear plastic window to see the seed level in the hopper. I need to replace the hopper, if anyone has one for sale. Thanks again for the photos.
