Hi guys,
This email was waiting for me when I got home tonight from Gordon.
"Hi John,
Good news, Rudi's operation finished yesterday at 6:00 pm, this morning he is awake and breathing on his own! Rudi had multiple bypass surgery.
Emily, his mother and daughter are with him.Emily will be taking training on how to care for Rudi when he is sent home.
Thats all for now John, kindly let all the good cubbers know the good news.
Regards,Gordon"
Sounds like Rudi is ony his way, must be tough as a Cub
Great to hear and my guess is he'll be back home before Christmas.
Can't hardly wait until we seem him posting again,

I just got a call from Donny a bit ago wanting to know the latest report on Rudi. He is on his way home to Texas from finishing this particular tower job. He was in slow traffic (collision) in Shreiveport I believe. Anyhoo I told him the latest update I had to offer and he was pretty happy to hear the good news.
Then came Bronson

Thank you Jesus for Rudi's recovery. I know what it is like yo live with pain like that. No one should have to. I had hopes at one time of going to John Hopkins to get a new heart, but they won't touch me either. Said I couldn't survive a operation. Every few months my Dr. squeezes a couple of stints in one place or another. My wife and I both have been following your updates on him and he has been in both our prayers. As are all of you.
