There is a tube from the air cleaner to the front of the engine. It pulls the vapors from the crankcase and burns them. This is an early to reduc air polution.

There is a tube that runs from the front of your engine block (normally) near the tappet cover with a couple of fittings on it. Find that one, and then follow it up to the backside and top of your oil bath air breather. Remove both ends with a gas line wrench, and make sure the tube is clear as well as the fittings on the air breather and the engine block. Mine was clogged up, and you wouldn't believe the difference it makes to have that tube cleared. Thanks John *.?!(or whatever).

Good Luck Hart.
