I found a place on the internet that sells just about any light bulb there is in the world.I never use the rear light because my tractors are for play and state law requires a solid red light when going down the road.This place sells all color and voltage LED bulbs.Here are the 6 volt that i needed.Pretty cool.

bear:

Not sure if you got the Cool White bulbs, but if you did how bright is the light from these LED bulbs :?: Superior to the 1133's :?: I found the site and the correct group page - 1157 Dual & 1156 Single Contact LED Cluster Bulbs and then went looking for both the Red and the Cool White. (hit the See Prices & Buy button) and the (More Info button is illuminating :D )

1156-x19-xV: 19-LED 1156 Bulb 6 VDC replacement bulb
15mm Single Intensity Bayonet Base
Wide 100 degree Viewing Angle LEDs
Non-Polarized bulb for positive ground vehicles

Part#: 1156-W19-6V
Color: Cool White
Beam: 100 degree
Volts: 6 VDC

$ 7.95 + $3.00 for the 100 degree = $ 10.95

and

Part#: 1156-R19-6V
Color: Red
Beam: 100 degree
Volts: 6 VDC

$ 7.95

So that would be about $29.85 plus shipping etc., to get a set. Seems like a good idea if the amount of light developed exceeds the 1133's. That would sure help for night work :)

Rudy i cant compare output considering this is red verses the white but it seems to be brighter than the old white light.Maybe i just want it to be. :lol:

I don't understand the 6v sticker on their package. 1156 is a 12v bulb. The superlightleds site says:
part: 1156-R19, color: Red voltage range: 9~14.8.
I wouldn't expect it to be very bright on 6 volts.

I was confused at first, too. I think there is a Part# 1156-R19-6V and a Part# 1156-R19-12V.

Seems like it should be 1183-R19 or something like that with a base number that would normally be associated with a 6-volt bulb.

The 6 and 12 volt bulbs have different stock numbers and i am very pleased with how bright it is.

If it's a LED cluster bulb then I bet it's really bright, all of them I've seen really out shine any regular bulb.
Very good web site Bear, Thanks... :{_}:

I have ordered form them before, and their site is a little confusing, they frequently have different voltage ranges for the same configuration, and you have to click the order or more info to see it and figure out the different numbers. I bought some LED lights for my 18 volt rechargeable lights with my drill and was real happy with them.

The confusion also got me which is why I made sure to include

as part of the text. First time around I ended up with 12v and not the 6v I wanted.

I agree the ordering process is confusing so i just called and got hold of a really nice lady who took care of the ordering.Recieved the bulbs in 3 days by the way.

I just happened to notice while reading this post that their colorful advertizing logo box was just under the sponsors names at the bottom of the page, ready to click on :shock:

Rick

edit: it's gone now with some different advertizers.
