Ask Bob McCarty about some he had made! I bought a set from him at his cubfest and used them last week when I had the rear wheel off for a new tube. Thanks, Bob. They worked GREAT!! Think you need to make some more!

It's nothing that's on the tractor or anything to worry about replacing. Just some homemade chunks of wood you should use when jacking up the tractor. I use wedges anytime I jack up the rear of the tractor or when I have to split it. You drive them in between the front axle and the bolster to keep the front axle from being able to pivot and allowing the tractor to tip over. Also, if you're splitting, it keeps the front end in the same place it was when you took it apart.

Thanks! I'll keep this mind next time I'm jacking it up. I haven't split one (yet), but I have jacked up a front wheel just enough to pull the tire and rim to get a new tube put in. My axle seals on the finals leak some and I'm going to have to pull the rear wheels to get to them eventually.

I'm pretty sure they would be too small for a Super A. And the left side of the SA front axle gets braced differently...a much larger wedge of wood.

Just a safety suggestion...
I always use wooden wedges made out of softwood with a bit of a cup cut in them on the axle tube side with a power saw. Once there in tight I go around each with a few rounds of electrical tape to keep them from jumping out. Hope this helps
