48 Cub Electrical Question

Postby Kodiak » Fri Jan 14, 2005 9:43 pm

I'm looking to replace the GE-1133 6V headlight bulbs with 12V ones. Anyone have part numbers for a replacement ? I also need to replace the broken 6V rear work light it is a GE-4511 6V sealed beam. Same question anyone know part numbers for a 12V replacement?

I have thought about bringing my cub into the 21st century with those white LED lights. You can buy the individual LEDs and make the bulbs using the old 6v sockets?? anyone tried this??

Thanks Ron
