Back in the saddle again.....

I pulled the cub outta it's semi retirement (haven't done much cubbin lately).
Figured I'd better get the blade on it for the snow.
It feels good to be plowing. I fabbed a weight bracket for the drawbar but the camera's dead. I can hang 5, 42 pound suitcase weights on it. Pictures tomorrow or so...



I had so much fun, I decided to plow the street...

Oh yeah!
Third gear plowing on the road before work this morning.
Snow rolling off the blade real nice. Got to learn to pay attention when I push off into the front yard though.......... I'll have some grass to replant this spring.

I always plowed with my cub cadets, and they do a great job, but I always had a warm place to park them. Now that they are shedded without heat, the F-Cub is the only thing that doesn't even hesitate to fire up in the cold.

i believe it's time for you to break out the 'FAMOUS' Cross live plow cam

i've discovered that my 129 needs a warm blanket or it just doesn't want to get going, either. but i might have a compression release problem.

6 to 12 inches here tomorrow......lets see... the 48 cub has a mower deck on it, the 54A plow sitting in picces as i picked it up last summer, the 129 has a 982 two stage blower on it up at my shop but it turns too slow to throw the snow out well, (i gotta fuss with the pulley diameters), and the 129's plow sit's in the shed (next to the 48Cub)

any spare time i've had has been spent on rebuilding my W6. probably better get SOMETHING to plow with, huh?
