I would like something

Postby jmont54 » Fri Jan 21, 2005 3:36 pm

Hello:
I am trying to find a CarryAll for my little lady. Want it to have a place for Standards. I have placed an add in the wanted area on this forum. Does anyone know a source for one either original or aftermarket. Needless to say want original if at all possible.

Thanks a bunch!

John Montgomery

John, if you have a fast hitch, they are out there but not easy to find. I believe Mike Tiemann is working on one he found and I know Mike Schmudlach has one.
If you have a regular drawbar, there was not one produced but I feel one could be easily designed and built.

i've been mulling over building one for Pete based on the fast hitch carryall but mounting to the drawbar with a 2" receiver or two of those 1.25" receivers they have for wannabe tow vehicles.
i seem to have more ideas than time, though

jmont54, As Bigdog said, need to know if you have a 1 pt. or "Fasthitch" on the little lady :?: If you do then yes the 1 pt. hitch.. carry alls are available. I was talking with John at JP Tractor http://www.jptractorsalvage.com/ last week and he said they were available but they were getting scarce. Drop an email to JP Tractor and Jamie will get back to you. They may even have one again by now

I believe the classified ads in Red Power had several fast hitch carryalls listedlast issue. Don't remember where they were located or if prices were listed.

Art:

That would be a good idea.

I do like the idea of the wanna be hitches. I think two would be better than one and easier to design.

Post whatever you come up with :) please :?:  :!:

I have done this. I clamped the reciever tube to the swinging drawbar at the intersection of the main drawbar. I used a reese carry-all to hold plants, fertilizer, and water while planting my garden. Works great.

Best,
Mike
