Push Blade

I have a blade that I have had for years, that a guy gave me and said that it would fit my cub. He had a 100. The blade is out in front of the wheels, and the rails or push arms, they go all the way back to the rear end to attach. I have not seen one in a book like this for a cub, but I think that it will fit. I think it has a chain to lift the arms to raise the blade. Have any of you ever seen one like this?

Wood - it is not a factory IH blade for the cub. Most likely it is home made. I have seen several like this and they seem to work well.

There were some after-market blades similar to your description. Without a picture, nearly any comments would be speculation. Bigdog is right that it is most likely home made.

I will get my son to take a picture of it tomorrow, and I will post it.

My snow blade is much like you describe. I had always believed it was a one-off. However, it works just fine for me. I will be interested to see your pictures.

Be interested to see pics of your blade. There have been a number of different custom blades that have been posted over the years. Back when I first got my 48 - Ellie Mae, my wife Emilie bought me a custom blade for Christmas...

Not sure what it was designed for, but I understand it was mounted on a M-H Pony before I got it. Now that I have my Cub-54 blade, this one is going to go on the market. Haven't used it in a few years and no need to let it rust away.....
