put on your thinking hats!!!
was working on our drive way yeaterday and cub was working fine. then had to back up a couple of times and the transmission would jump out of reverse. kept working a littele longer and each time i would go to reverce it would jump out after short distance or would jump out as soon as cluth would be released and would grind. had to hold it into reverce to back cub back in parking place on carport. can any one tell me what would be the problem. I am thimking it may be the reverce gear.

Take the top of the transmission case off and look for a bent or broken shifting fork.
