Steering wheel restoration pics

Postby Ken (48 Cub) » Thu Feb 03, 2005 9:11 am

I got my steering wheel back from Minn-Kota Repair. Here are some before and after pics. I think it looks great! Especially after it gets painted.  It took about four weeks to get it back. Cost $86.50 - Includes shipping both ways.

After:
They dip it in a solution that takes it down to bare metal for better adhesion. It would be cool to know more about this process.

If you'd left it the way it was you wouldn't have to worry about it cracking again. HA HA! Looks like they did a great job.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

You are right about that John but hopefully being garage kept will keep that from happening for a long time!

Now to clean up the threads on the steering shaft. Anyone know what size it is.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!
