Front lights

Postby rvharris3 » Thu Feb 03, 2005 10:38 pm

I just put new front lights on my Cub and found the original wire leads from the switch. It seems full left is OFF. Then there are two more positions on the switch. The lights come on on either position but the first position is dimmer than the right hand. Almost like a dim and brighter.
My system is 6 v with a 6v battery pos to ground. The wires had been cut so I also dont know the proper route of the original wiring.

That sounds normal. A 3 position switch is off, Dim, and Bright (actually less dim)
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

rv:

Here is the link to the ATIS FAQ's #2 that has the wiring diagrams.

Also, you may find the GSS-1012 Electrical Equipment Manual useful. This is one of the Blue Ribbon Service Manuals that can be found on the Cub Manual Server.

Also there are links to all kinds of good info there, including the ATIS FAQ's.
