Hood side decals

Postby Paul B » Mon Feb 07, 2005 7:35 pm

Does anyone know of a source for the correct hood side decals for the early (1947 to July 1949) Cubs - the ones that say McCormick-Deering Farmall Cub, not the ones that say McCormick Farmall Cub. All of the decal suppliers I have seen so far, including Case IH, sell the McCormick Farmall Cub decals as the decals for "early" Cub's. That is what IH went to in July '49 when the Deering name was deleted from the hood decal.

I bought my McCormick-Deering Farmall Cub decal set on eBay over a year ago and still see them on there. You might try Maple or Carter of which might carry them. Someone on the board will surly know.
Then came Bronson

i've been having good results with items like that from Harold
Robinson, you'll find him in Red Power.

but first i'd ask Ken or Chad over at C&G. never ceases to surprise me the parts that are still available.

Maple-Hunter (812-894-9759) has a real nice set of cut vinyl decals. I put a set on my 48 Cub.
Always try the easiest thing first.

Paul...You might try Steiner Tractor Parts (http://www.steinertractor.com). :D I got a set of McCormick-Deering Farmall Cub decals for my 1948 Cub. I want to say that the set cost about $23.00
