I love those shop pics.
I have the 100+ year old barn, I'll call that the woodshop, currently full of everything in a very disorganized way.
The other shop is the big barn, which at this time is also a mess.
We are still working on the big barn and property trying to get it organized and cleaned up to our liking.
I have a couple days off so the chickens are getting a new fenced area and the insulated rooms are getting a new sink.
It's great to see the pictures, gives great inspiration and ideas.
It also shows how much we all have in common, as well as our different interests.
I'm sure we would all agree that a good shop is just what the doctor ordered for mind and body.
Maybe pictures later
Keep them coming.

Sneads is just east of Tallahassee. You missed a good one this year.

This is my combination - Cub shack/chook shack! Have room for 2 tractors and 12 hens! LOL ! Built from salvaged barn siding, insulated and on skids so it is movable!

What kind of chicks are those? Red star? and Barred Rocks? They look very similar to mine....but they have gotten a lot bigger in the last few months. My flock is half the size of yours though...

Hello!
We just built a shop! Finally, our Cub no longer has to spend it's summers on the farm under a tarp! I posted it under Farm Life topic (
viewtopic.php?f=38&t=79152). Since I just found this thread, I thought I'd tell people about it here!
Cheers!

I'll tell you what! There are some fantastic Cub houses posted here, I'm envious! Ironically I don't have any pic's of mine that show it too well. Most of what I have are pic's of projects and things inside it.

I built it in 1994 and have done sooo much in there I can't remember it all. It's my second home although it's less than 100 feet from my house. Here I am standing inside when my son an I were redoing the frame on his 85 Chevy pick up. The engine and tranny are sitting on a floor dolly, the cab is hanging on a chain hoist and the frame is out of the pic laying on the floor as we re-enforced it with custom cut plates fitted inside the frame rails. I don't remember where the front clip is.
