gas tank/hood for '57 lowboy question

Postby Tom Evans » Wed Mar 09, 2005 5:26 pm

I had the gas tank for my '57 Lowboy stripped and I'm getting ready to seal it. As I stare at it, it appears as if there is a slight peak in the hood that runs from the radiator hole to the gas tank itself. Is this the way they should be, or were they totally smooth and I have some slight dents to work out? Also where can I purchase Methyl Ethyl Ketone, used for absorbing any moisture in the tank?
