Planter Manual on eBay

Postby Rudi » Tue Mar 15, 2005 8:15 pm

Guys:

Is this really a planter for a Cub? 184 Planter, or is it just for the Super A and the 100 series?

The 184 planting unit is a single row unit that could be mounted a variety of ways including on a Cub. Since the seller lists Cub, I would guess the manual says something about the Cub mounting options. Email the seller to find out for certain.

184 Planter

Postby Chris Todd » Wed Mar 16, 2005 7:17 am

Rudi, I acquired what I think is a 184 along with some other Super A implements( Cults, Fert drop, Disc Harrow) last summer. To me it looks very similar to say the 172 and 174? It hitchs to a frame via 2 pins and then frame bolts to front Cult bars. I have found 1 pic of an old Ebay add that I believe shows the 184. I can Email if anyone wants to post. I haven't taken the time to master using my free web space....Someday :? The Harrow is very similar to the single gang rear lift cub disc, only with larger frame and discs. And of course cult bars and shovels are same as Cub except with Super A mounts. Wife says they hit the Ebay block in a few weeks if anyone is interested.
