Farmall Cub

In looking at the thread asking for help to ID a mower as well as the thread asking about the difference between a Cub and Loboy mower I went to the manuals for some images. Most of those images are hard to make out so I got to thinking, maybe if I sent Ed a gift certificate to Krispy Kreme he would gather pictures of all the diffrent mowers and post them for us. Then I remembered, Ed doesn't do pictures for love nor donuts.

What I would like to do is put together an Easy ID page showing the different type of mowers so it can be used for comparison when someone can't figure out what they have or if they are looking at one but not sure it will fit their Cub. I need to get good, clear pix of the different mowers used on Cubs and Loboys.

Here's is my request, if any of you fellas can take a pic of your mower, either mounted or not, along with a pic of the mule drive mounted with it's description, I will work on putting a page together. Just post the pix and type here and I will get things going.

Wouldn't work out, even if I did pictures. No Krispy Kreme donuts, in this area. There were, a couple of years ago, but they didn't survive. Ed

That mower is 100% original except for the small channel frame I put on it. It doesn't look any different. And if someone can't figure out that's a c3 then they need their eyes checked .The Craigslist listing photos are all original before the frame was put on. My c2 is 100% original and so is the cub-22 so I'll get some more.

The idea behind my project is not for the folks that know what a particular mower looks like. Not everybody can identify all the Cub mowers. I am aiming this towards those who want to learn.

I just meant it doesn't look any different. I posted an original in my previous post. I'll have to get more detailed photos tomorrow.

Bill, this is an IH C-3 with Lo-Boy bracketry, both fast hitch and drawbar. The wings on each end of the deck are mounted up but should be down.

Thanks Denny, that is exactly the type (and size) pic I am looking for. The angle shows it well. I plan to get a pic of my 42, 59 and Sunflower today when I get home.

Would like to know what this mower is.

Need to

1. Free up the telescoping pto shaft
2. Weld up a bracket for a rear wheel
3. replace belt
4. sharpen blades
....and we'll be in business !!!
