Mike:

Congratulations :!: :D

Glad you got it. I am also glad that I waited. Was going to bid on it, but it sort of got kind of expensive. Will have to wait for another one....

I need to Look for the old origional cap in the shed, if its still there. Just bought a new cap from CNH for $3.83, part #400586R1, (tractors 3rd or 4th), course its for a working tractor and not for show.

What does the original gasket for these caps look like? I have been told they are made of paper gasket material and rubber. Which one is it?
If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use duct tape.

That seller is top notch.... I bought a fan blade and the fan and bolts were sandblasted and primed... for $5.

Anybody need a fan??

It's been a long time, and not the kind of thing you pay attention to when you are a teenager, but I think the gaskets in the radiator caps on our old Farmall Hs were cork.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
