Just wondering if anyone has ever been to the LaGrange KY spring swap meet. Even though the weatherman says we are going to get our first temps above 50 this week here in SW Michigan I'm thinking of heading south to try and find some nicer weather and see if I can find any treasures. Takes place April 1 & 2 just east of Louisville. Wondering how big a swap it is and if any of you all go or have gone in the past.
Sorry if this is the wrong place for this post also.

I have been there several times, normally as a vendor. As swap's meet go, it would probably be considered a small one, from 50-100 vendors maybe. Sometimes more sometimes less. Usually several vendors with hit & miss type engines or parts, usually find some tractor parts, usually not many tractors other than garden tractors, but usually a lot of other "stuff with lot's of experience" to look through. Normally has people from several states. Last year was the first time they held it on Fri and Sat, I believe. Use to be Sat and Sun, but usually no one there on Sun. Weather forcast is calling for rain Fri, and be cloudy Sat, with temps in the mid 50's. I will be there Sat at least. If you are looking for something like Portland in May, this ain't it.

My great grand father and his father were Dory men on the grand banks, I would say till they got smarter. Perhaps it was till an imigrant could get other work. They were Danes who jumped ship They talked about frightening things too.
