Re: Timing aCubWelcome Ken.
Please restate or explain your question. Honestly, I do not know what information you are looking for. I have an excuse. CRS.
Re: Timing aCubIf you are referring to a battery ignition (distributor) unit, refer to timing instructions on Pg 25-27 in the following link. It is a little different compared to timing a magneto.

Re: Timing aCubCub not start. New plugs, points condenser dist cab, checked timing TDC will not start. what might be problem
Re: Timing aCubDid the engine run before you did the tune up?
Did you remove the distributor from engine when you replaced the points and condensor? How did you check the ignition timing? Remove the coil wire from the distributor, place so distributor end is about 1/4" from engine block. Crank engine over with ignition on. Are you getting fire from the coil? If you are getting a good hot spark, then ignition timing fault some place. Spark plug wires on wrong terminal. Ignition 180 degrees out of time. Distributor not timed to engine. No spark from coil wire. Check to see if the lead to the condensor is not grounded to the distributor case. Common fault. I have an excuse. CRS.
