Totally "NOS" Cub ?

Postby Marion(57 Loboy) » Thu Apr 07, 2005 6:33 pm

I'm wondering if would be possible to, with whatever lengths one would have to go to, (and time and money were no concern) build a new Cub entirely from NOS? .... Now that would be something to have huh?

No doubt it would be from parts made over the span of a couple of decades or so, but still NOS nonetheless.

...my wife AND my Mom say I'm waaaaay too addicted.......lol...they may be right!!

I'll bet you could still do that. Probably equal parts time and money. It would take a long time to find the parts AND boy would it be 'spensive$$$$$$$

I think I have collected enough parts to make at least the engine and the outside of the tractor NOS. I have NOS mufflers, breather caps, gas caps,
engine, sheetmetal, rims, manifold etc....of course they are all different years. LOL

30 + tractors including 2 French Super Cubs, French Cubs, 1963 Industrial Cub, 1955 Cub Highcrop etc...German and French built IH tractors and some bigger IH tractors. Of course I have about 20 IH trucks and an IH refridge in the Shop.

it is definately possible. I know I have had all the parts at one time or another to build a NOS M, with the exception of the clutch housing & rear rims...
