Part of the refurb job on the '56 was to convert over to a 12v
alternator system. I decided to go with the Delco 10 si mainly because it was cheap and readily available at my nearest NAPA. I had a couple of the top mounting arms from Clint that look factory made. I didn't have a bottom
bracket, but wanted one to match the craftsmanship of the top. Here's what I came up with.....made with 3/16th flat bar. It takes about an 11 degree bend from the mounting block to clear the governor housing.
I'm close to having the tractor running.....at last.


I think the hood will fit without hitting the
alternator.
