I order the restoration series valspar from my neighbor hood Lowes, it was cheaper per can than TSC, you have to order it by the case, sounds like a lot but its not, gallons are a case of two, qts are a case of 4 and spray bombs are a case of six, no shipping charges, had it in 4 days

That is good info to know. I'm down to my last spray bomb of Restoration Series IH red. All I have left are the quarts and a gallon I got when TSC was clearing it out last year. Need more spray bombs.

I guess I'm the odd man out. I've used Majic with sucess. Definately use hardner and reducer and it goes on great and dries fast enough for me. The color is slightly off though, not good when painting part of a tractor like I did. Here's a pic of my SA that I painted the tank, hood and grille with Majic.

The new Majic paint at TSC is not something I would paint a tractor with But I've used it on some implements and such and it does ok , I have found it takes a long time to cure but if you use the hardner with it , it sure helps a lot , cuts the time almost in half ,,,

Hello,

Has anyone tried the Rustoleum industrial enamel paint?

http://www.gemplers.com/product/109933/ ... t#TAB-INFO

I've still got 2 cans of Valspar Restoration series left, but I'm wondering about future needs. I do like the mention of ordering it from Lowes.

I like the Valspar very much.
Matched up and never clogged or splattered.

I painted my Cub with Valspar. I was fortunate because I carry it in my Hardware store. If you are looking for a local store question the owner on who he buys from, if it is Orgill inc. they carry the IH implement paint in spray and quarts but not the restoration series. Let me know if I can be of help with stock numbers.

I bought two cans of their IH red paint and painted a white hood with it. Gotta say, it's surely isn't IH red. Looks more candy red to me. Have since bought Valspar and did it right.

I have been using the .97 per can royal blue from Wally world on the 174 planter. I have used the IH iron guard paints, professional grade automotive paints, and everything in between. For .97 a can, it works great for me. It is, after all, a farm implement, and I am painting it for rust prevention, not to be a trailer queen. If it were show stuff, I wouldn't use any less than an automotive grade two part.
