Please, I would love to get a set of those crimping pliers. I have a dozen different crimpers but not one of the is right for that job

Oh yeah... getting them from NAPA meant that I needed to get them by the box to be cost effective. But since I want a lot of Cubs, I figure it is just good planning for the future - build up stock while it is cheap

Bill:

Thanks for the link. But it figures --- No Matco distributors in my area at all. Hmmmm so how to find one ... don't even know if there is one in NB. Oh well..... Might be something I can pick up while I am stateside.

I have that same crimping tool, mine is a Belden, so it was likely sold with several different brand names applied to it. I prefer to make up my own wire sets and this tool is a "must have" for doing that.

Don,

I got one that had, like this one, the spark plug crimping dies on the handle end of the pliers. I didn't have enough hand strength to make a nice crimp, so I took it back. I'm looking for one with the crimping dies, I need, on the end opposite the handle. Get leverage working for me rather than me working for the leverage.

the best crimping tool for plug wires on the market right now is the Accel 300+ part # 170036
remember you got what you pay for so if you are cheap do not bother to look it up

Accel 170036 Accel 300+ Perma-Crimp Tool

It seems a bit heavier than the majority of crimpers and has interchangeable anvils.
