Adjustable front axle

Postby Brent » Tue Apr 19, 2005 8:49 am

:? My Cub is a "48" with the adjustable front axel. I guy at the show this past weekend said it must have been added since the adjustable front axle wasn't available in 1948. Is that right and if so what was the first year they were offered?

They were availably in '47, and most '47s have them. He may have been thinking of hydraulics that weren't available at first, but were planned for and mostly retrofitted.

John and George,
:D Thanks, I thought they were but I figured maybe he knew something I didn't. I got one supposed expert this year that could be a comic. If anyone followed his advice there would be some strange looking Cubs out there! I just answered, is that right and he finally went away.
