Yep Don, mine is far uglier than that one! The bushing is show in the first picture, of course mine is a mess. Guess I will yank the one off the Lo Boy Mott mower and see how that one looks. The bushing has me thrown, how do you keep oil from leaking past the shaft/bushing??
The one on the bench has no 'vent' and I don't think there is a hole for it either. Even the spacers are rusted!

Started on the second one and have not gotten to the bushing yet. Not as bad as the first one, but it leaks and takes on water. Bad combination. Looking at the rusty 'bushing' from the first one and thinking of the problem on the 'new' pulley on the bench had me thinking (does happen) that a new one, or two, may be a good idea. Shows 'available' (not always the case as I found with the bearing) with a price close to $50!
Seems like a sealed bearing would be a pretty easy way out. You wouldn't need the seal. The bushing probably keeps the pulley or whatever is on the shaft in place, but wouldn't be as critical, as long as it rides the inner race of the bearing. 6205-2RS has two rubber seals.
