Re: hand crankThere are two 10-32 threaded holes in your floor pan, they may have broken screws in them already so you may need to drill them out and retap, the screw length will be 1/4"

Re: hand crankThanks guys.
Re: hand crankThis portion of the battery cable and rear light harness, by design, should run along the edge of the instrument panel and pass behind the clutch stop peg. A clip should attach to the open hole in the panel. The clip holds the cables in place and provides some abrasion protection. Here is a picture of the clip. Routing the cable forward of the peg does a pretty good job of keeping it out of harms way without the clip.

Re: hand crankHere is what Jim is referring to.
Here it is with the clutch pedal held down for clarity. I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: hand crankI ordered a couple of the hand crank clips from TM while ago but I can't find those battery cable loopety clips in their catalog. They weren't shown with the battery cable stuff anyway?
Re: hand crank
TM hasn't carried them for a while. Stiener has them for about 10 bucks. If you aren't going for originality you can go to a hardware store or possibly a parts house and get one of these. ![]() I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. Re: hand crankCrap! I have the wiring on top too because that's where it was when I started. Never occurred to me that those clips were for the crank!
