New member. Just brought home a cub we've had on the farm since the mid to late 60's, not exactly sure when we got it. Farmall Cub, 1962 model year.

Engine does not have much time on it since a rebuild but in desperate need of sheetmetal repair and paint. Has not been used for last 18 years. Primary use was cultivating tobacco.

Added to database.

Jerry in Southern Maryland.

Need a new radiator and side channels, was hit by front end loader. Also some sheet metal work and emblems.

Jerry:

Nice lookin Cub. Doesn't look like too much pain from the run in with the loader

I see that your Cub has the same thing tied behind Cubs that belong to a number of us. A green and yellow lawn mower wheel weight

I was told the radiator leaked after the frontend loader incident. Also need hood emblems; already finding out these particular emblems are somewhat scarce.

Update: Yesterday (04 Nov) I started the cub for the first time in 15 + years. Radiator leaks like a sieve so I only ran for a few a short bit. Wanted to make sure I didn't have any major issues before teardown.

Just had to change the oil and filter, points, condenser, plugs and coil and rebuild the carb.

Great oil pressure and no blue smoke.
