The high-and-wide option ads a whole 'nother layer of complexity to the picture.

Kirk,

What is between the left wheel disc and wheel spacer?

A sprocket

I cannot imagine the increadible force on the wheel/axle bearings with a tractor setup in this extremely wide setup. You can physically see the short length of the axle (distance from the inner and outer bearing) -vs- the distance from the axle flange to the tire tread center. I would think this would just destroy axle bearings with this setup.

Would that sprocket possibly fit a John Blue Side Dresser? I know they used the sprockets mounted on the wheel center to drive them.

Would you know what the sprocket on the PTO is for?

I don't really know want the sprocket on the wheel was used for. I can count the teeth if it would help. I would sell it since I have no use for it if interested.
The sprocket on the pto may have been used for a sprayer since parts of the sprayer came with the tractor.

Woods 59, fast hitch version used a short chain to drive the belt.

Might want to clarify you're talking about the PTO sprocket and not the one on the wheel.

The Lo-boy I just picked up has a gear similar to that.

Somewhere along the line roll pins came into play to tighten it up a bit.
