Woods 42 mower

Last year when I removed and disassembled the belly mower from the Cub, I failed to take detailed photos of the mower because I had a copy of the owners manual among my father's papers. Only just this week, as I started to reinstall the mower did I realize that the manual is not for the same model as the one that I have. My manual is for the 42C-6, but the decals on my mower deck just say Woods 42. Although most of the instructions and illustrations apply to my mower, there are some differences. For instance, the arms (called push channel assembly) on the 42C which connect the mower deck to the mule drive are shown as bolted onto the deck. On my mower, those arms were welded to the mower deck. I was trying to see if in the manuals section there is a manual specific to the model of my Woods mower, but that seems to be inaccessable, due to the recent storm. Is there some way to determine which specific model I have? I basically think that I can reassemble the mower with the instructions that I have, but I would prefer to have a parts listing which is correct for my mower. I am actually missing a couple of small spacers (think fat washers) used in the assembly of the arms. The spacers are nominally 1" OD, 5/8" ID, 7/16" wide. When I took the mower off, one spacer was missing, and the other broke into pieces upon removal. Does anyone know of a source for such spacers?

The parts I think you are missing are more like a flanged bushing. On the 42C4, the bushing was a Woods part number 484 and used a 5/8 bolt flats and locks.

Our 42C came to us with the tractor in 1969 has the flanged bushing. Would you like a photo and measurements?

Thiggy, does it look like this?

If it does, here is a manual that might help.

Thanks to tst's referral I was able to order the bushings. ntrenn, the manual that I have for the C-6 looks like the mounting arms may have flanged bushings, but that does not seem to be what I need with mine (which I assume is earlier than the C-6. I would like to know how to determine which my model is.

Does anybody really know what Woods did? Our mower came new on the cub in 1963 with the original owner and is part C4, part C6 and nothing like the early models. I know Dad didn't buy this mower after he got the tractor in '69....
