1949 Cub serial number

Postby Tailhntr » Wed Apr 27, 2005 7:53 am

Where on the tractor is it located...I can't find it anywhere. Is it a metal tag like on my H and M, or is it cast in the metal somewhere? If it is missing, is there anyway to find out what it was? I know it's a '49 from the date code "S"....Thanks for the help! :?

It's on the lower radiator casting on the right side where the shaft from the steering wheel enters the casting. Check this link.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

49's would run from 57831-99535. Casting letter should be S
