Yeah, that whole deal about the battery is one step short of "Was running when parked."

That infamous phrase normally means that the tractor has MAJOR engine problems, has been neglected, and/or hasn't been running in 15-20 years and is seized up solid.

It's interesting how different parts of the country run high or low concerning Cub prices. I was just thinking the other day how Cub prices seemed higher lately (at least around here). I've run into two or three Cr*igslist adds that seem like good, average tractors w/ one or no implements, but wanting a little higher than average price:
