distributor hand crank

I have a Cub with a distributor, can it be started with a crank or do i have to have a magneto to hand crank it

Yes you can start it with a crank as long as you have a battery connected

Jim I am proud of you with the hand shake with the shift lever to make sure you are not in gear and the thumb under the hand crank so that you don't get a broken thomb or worse if there should be a back fire. I mention this so that if any newbies see your excellent video they clearly understand what you did and why.

got a crank for Christmas, fired it up for the first time with one last week, 1 stroke was all it needed
