I don't think the depth of the snow would be a problem with the deck. But, I had not considered where the weight was placed.
I don't have rear weights nor chains right now. Those will come shortly. In the mean time, how much weight can I safely load onto the drawbar?

I use a reverse 3/8" S hook to hold the mower up when operating the blade
