Definitely replace! Looks like in the middle of the weld there is another crack again. My rule is if your pulling off something that has been repaired like a final, front bolster, front axle ect. REPLACE IT. Lol. It's not worth the time and new parts patching up junk. Put a good piece on it and KNOW it's fixed. Just my .02 cents... Looks like a good tractor and deserves good parts :mrgreen:

That is because they didnt clean up the weld before painting. That is slag that is cracked... :roll:

Also, the two rear holes in the diff case have been drilled and tapped to the next size, Im assuming it either ripped the threads out when it broke, or the bolts broke off and they had to drill them out.

A year ago, I bought a "new" final from Boss, cleaned it up, replaced the seals and repainted it and swapped finals out at DSCF...sure was easier than messing around with the old one, and now I don't have to worry about it. THANKS BOSS!!
