final drive noiseHey Guys, as it says in the title...i have a noise in the final drive of a cub i'm working on. It kinda sounds like a lose wheel that i have run into before on other tractors except this one has no lose wheels..lol! There's also a little bit of binding for time to time when going from a forward gear to reverse and letting the clutch out. I'm not real familiar with these tractors but i'm guessing maybe a final drive gear. The noise is only on the left side so i don't think its in the trans. Anyway, just thought i'd see if someone had ran into this in the past before i tore into it. Thanks!
Re: final drive noiseJust for giggles, try to tighten the wheel lugs and the wheel weight bolts. Bet that fixes it.
