Will a dwell tach work on a 6 volt magneto sparked Cub to indicate RPM?
Since retirement, the things I miss most are the holidays!

nope, they require battery voltage at the pints.

Consider one of these for RPM measurement. Also keeps track of hours if you leave it permanently mounted. Has its own power supply and the sensor lead simply wraps around a plug wire.
