I use diesel fuel...Put in the correct amount and drive it around a little...Drain and put in your preference of fluid.

Doug, I just dump some deisel fuel in it and drive it for about five minutes. That usually cleans them pretty good.
I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

I clean it out with brake clean, takes some time but does a real good job, Take the top off thge trans. only way to clean the oil holes out

Yes sir, pour oil in with the top off after cleaning, that way you have no dry bearings, be sure to pour some on the front and rear oil hole

The brake clean drys very fast too leave the drain plug out, I also remove the rear plate and PTO when I do it, but I am some what nutty when it comes to cleaning stuff
