Seems like I remember this being discussed in another thread but cannot seem to find it. Does anyone have any idea how long the Hood Ornaments were used during the 1976 production?
I picked up the new to me 1976 International Cub. The owners father purchased it new and has been on the same property since then. The father purchased the Woods 59" in the 90s from what the son indicated. I left the house at 4 am this morning to pick it up at 7 and get back by 1 pm. When I got there I took out the trusty compression gauge to make sure I knew what I was getting. The tractor hadnt ran since 2006 evidently. Its not real pretty but if it will run and work nicely I will be happy. Here are some pictures from this evening.

As Paul posted above, it appears the ornament ended in 1976. The generator oil holes ended sometime in 1978 according to data submitted by the users here!

Well I finally got the 1976 running after its 7 years of sitting dormant. I decided to use some of my unused parts to spruce it up a bit. I still have some work to do but that the fun part.

Thanks Rudi & Tezell.
I have had 8 Firestone 8.3-24 Rear Tires on Powder Coated wheels for close to 3 years now. It was time to use some of them.
