Cubfest video?

Postby Bob McCarty » Wed May 04, 2005 7:22 pm

I won't be able to attend Cubfest, but wondered if anyone has considered doing a video of the repair and maintenance clinics. I would sure be interested in buying one, and I bet a lot of other non-attendees would be to. Any chance of that? Thanks, Bob

That would be great! I don't know if we can pull it off or not. But anyone with a video camera is welcome to give it a go!

Bigdog,

A video of Cubfest would be neat. I would buy one. I'd be there in person if it wasn't so far from California. Maybe next year.

I would also be interested in purchasing a "how to do this" video. Dan

BigDog:

A video of the workshops would be a great idea  :!:  :D

It sure would be useful to many of us who cannot attend. I hope you can find someone who WILL be attending, and who MIGHT volunteer to take on this project.

If someone does step up to the plate - COUNT ME IN for a copy :!: :!: :!:

The video of the CubFest is an excellent idea. Count me in also on a how-to workshop video.

The video is a great idea but I personally will not have time to video the workshops. I probably won't even remember my name for a few days until CubFest is over. If someone has the time and patience to do the taping it would be great.

Hi Guys

8) I think I am going to make it down their. If I do I will take my camra and try to film what I can. I am pretty much setup to make dvd's and they should be cheeper to mail than vido tapes. I can't promice to make it but I will get-r-done if I can. If every one that can taks a vido camra and captures what they can maby we can cover everything. Even if I can't make it and a couple of peaple makes tapes I will volenteer to put them together into one tape.

Glad to hear this one tossed around! I will not likely be able to attend, but it sure does sound like the event of the year!

It is pretty difficult to do a top notch job of something like this, but ANYTHING would be GREAT for us folks sooo far away. Even if it was just a 'home movie' of the event.

Can anyone think of a way to get the folks that do the shows on RFD TV interested in an 'overall' event show?? That would be AWESOME too.

Here is a section of the RFD-TV page on Tractors: (don't know if this will work but here is the page URL too http://www.rfd-tv.com/?rfdtv/ordertractors.html

I have no idea whether this will work for everyone or just from my computer, but here are some scenes from the first CubFest at my place. If it works, it opens up another possible way to do it.
