What was the purpose of the Jockey arch?, does it just hold the rear tool bars more rigid?, the manuals show its installed but does not tell you what it does

Thanks Boss, in my pile I also have a #92 plant sheild, The big U Shapped one, was this for specific type of crop, again the book did not say what its purpose is except that its special

From what I understand the 92 is used to protect the young seedlings as you cultivate around them. As they grow taller the 92 is exchanged for either the 90 or the 91.

I have never seen a wiggle hoe on a cub, but Friday made a whole tractor for that purpose. A local farm market had one I saw back in the early 80s that you steered with your feet, and then ran the wiggle hoe with your hands.
