IH 12" One bottom plow and IH mounted harrow advice!!

Postby vwfish » Fri Feb 01, 2013 7:44 pm

Need some advice folks!

I found a 12" IH one bottom plow and IH mounted harrow near by.
Both appear to be complete and in very good shape.
Is $650 a reasonable price to pay for both pieces?

A lot of money unless they had factory shipping grease on them.

First thing I would do is identify exactly what they are and make sure all the parts are there to mount them. Always take photos of everything and bring the manual pages with you. The missing part is always the one that cost $100 on ebay. There are a lot of different plow bottoms. Some are obsolete with no new replacement wear parts.

A response from the better half would be "you've brought home running tractors for the same money".
