good morning all, from the deep south. just curious to see if anyone has a way to get the oil pressure relief valve nut off without removing lower inlet tube/hose . coppersmythe.................................

Can you remove the bolt (in front of the pressure relief nut)? This bolt is one that attaches the front of the engine to the bolster. With this bolt removed, you should be able to get a socket on the pressure relief valves nut. You might have to use an extension on the socket to reach it.

That's how I did it recently on my post '55. Once that lower right bolt was removed you have good access to it with an extension. Good luck.
