TC Bracket

Postby Jeff Silvey » Fri Feb 08, 2013 8:22 am

I was wandering what year they changed the TC lever bracket from small to bigger. I have the 48 in my shop I notice that the rod that goes from the lever to the unit has a dog leg in it. I thought it was because of the trimmed dash. My 50 Demo has the same set up. The bracket is 2" wide. So I checked my 56 & 59 the bracket is 3" wide. The rod is straight.

There were two types of hydraulic levers, fixed and then adjustable, according to Raymond's database for the Cub, the lever style changed at S/N 120339, in the parts book the pictures of the component that bolts to the steering wheel support shaft appear to reflect that 2" to 3" dimension change you mentioned.

*edit - added more info

I checked mine, Jeff. 48, short, 57 & 61 long. Are you going to turn the one on that 48 over and install it the proper way?
