I'm working on my '64 and need to replace the battery. I just picked up a Group 26 because the battery in my '66 just showed 26 on it. I've seen some references in the forum to the 26R and wondered if it really makes a difference on how the posts are oriented on the 26 vs 26R when mounting in the Cub.
Thanks Chuck

I'm thinking my question couldn't be answered any more succinctly, Boss. How 'bout is one or the other more "correct." I have one of Norm Quay's battery boxes on order as the original is long gone and I haven't run the new IH cable yet to test the theory that length matters. My '66 is at the farm so I don't have that to compare either.
