I was talking to a guy near me who has a square nose cub loboy. It is missing the serial tag so don't have s/n, the casting date he has found so far is engine block 3-15-W, torque tube 3-27-W, rear axle housing 2-5-W. The engine number he gave me is 600120292676X. I have seen a pic of the tractor, it is a red square front cub loboy. I can't figure these numbers out. Maybe someone else can.

"W", is 1973 date code. Ed

This cub appears to be a 63 or 64 model. It is 12v with starter button on dash, with wide deluxe seat. W 1951 is too early and W 1973 is too late. And that engine number is confusing.

Paul, does it say Farmall or International on the hood?

Bill,
The tractor has been repainted and decals not on it. Here is a link for it.

http://hickory.craigslist.org/grd/3617954633.html

The hood has been cut at the tank and rubber strip installed .

Sorry had to repost the link.

Somebody smack me upside the head! The key word here is Loboy which I completely missed. That souther chill this weekend worked on the brain. Paul, you are correct that it wouldn't be a W since Loboys were not produced with that cast date. Has the fella checked the finals. It may be that this is a regular Cub that somebody changed the front end and finals on to convert to a Loboy.

Somebody must have done a whole lot of swapping.....
Do I see a long steering shaft? That's late '63 or later.
Looks just like my parts loboy, but with a whole lot better paint....

There is a guy here in Lenoir that has converted several to Lo boys. Might be one of his victims. LOL

It very well could be . The seller told me he got it from a man that had worked for Rooster Bush for years and had owned cubs over the years.
