I would go look at the trailer.

Consider that you may want to haul tractors and pieces of equipment heavier than one Cub.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Most have no clue Denny. Because every cub I get or own is for sale, (except Jan's) I am not allowed to post any pictures anywhere on the forum except in the for sale section. None of me working on them, non of them on the trip home, not in the cub pride section. None of the loads of implements ect. like everyone else does, because they will eventually be for sale.

I am told, that is unfair advertising to the site sponsors and was told to cease and desist.

Only those that know me best, know that I save or rescue about 10 a year for the last 7 years. In my TN math, that is about 70 cubs. I don't have a place to keep that many, so there are never more that 3 or 4 here at a time. the rest must be sold as workers locally or as parts. :big afro:

So I just keep going on as I have, giving the best advice I can to the forum, working mostly locally and when i can, attend cubfests and swap meets, providing the used parts so many of these old little red tractors need.

I do not get much shop time at cubfests to help others, because of the parts, so most get the impression I don't like to help, or don't know what I am doing. This is the furthest from the truth. Here locally i fix cubs for free all the time, I just normally don't brag about it.

Dale, I enjoyed seeing you again last week-end. I too, am on the look-out for a larger trailer. I currently use a 5' X10' single axle, which is fine for my Cub, but I want to get a double-axle one which is large enough to tow the tractor and my golf cart. The cart is for my wife, who cannot stand or walk for any significant period of time. I believe that I can just get by with a 16' at a bare minimum, but 18' would be better. The problem is that the 18' ones that I have seen are all at least 83" wide, and I prefer the width of the 16' which I can get with 77". So, I continue to look...Stanley

Stanley, the 21' er i have been using is just shy of 6'wide and that is pleanty. I am needing to invest in a new brake system for it, and that gets pricey, but it is by far the best I have had.

I may have to sell it like it is to get an 18 like you are looking for. The width you were talking about would make up for the loss of leangth for me.

As you stated Dale, since every cub you buy is for sale, it is improper to tell all about them or put pictures in the main forum since it is pretty much trying to raise interest for the sale, just as if I bought one intending to sell it or part it out would be wrong to do that, and my comments and pictures should be reserved for the For Sale forum. Those who are contributing advertisers (PCAs) are allowed to post what they have bought and may be selling in the main forum so long as they do not post the actual for sale listing there. That is one of the privileges they pay for.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Well thank you John. I was not made aware of that, once the PCS forum went into effect. I will tastefully start posting again.

I think I'd pass on that one.
I've never met a tractor I didn't like....but I have found some that were greatly annoying....
