We have a nursery with the need to cultivate close up to our nursery stock (in rows of 42 in. O.C.). We are looking to buy a Cub in reasonably good condition. We are in Southern Oregon. Besides ebay, can anyone direct me to where I should be looking for used Cubs in this part of the world? Gary Rey

Check the free fliers, sale type papers found in local establishments. Couple of local names; Triple Nickle, Ad Tracker, Trading Post. In central Missouri there is a weekly free flyer for farm equipment.

Check the newspapers and internet for auctions within a reasonable distance. If there is a Cub up for auction, it will be listed.

Next thought. Farmall Cubs and implements are scarce to non-existent in some areas. Other suitable makes and models of tractors may be plentiful.

Cubs sure are expensive in Michigan!

Welcome to the forum. There are a couple of Cub owners/forum member in Zillah Washington and a few in Oregon. Maybe they can help as once you have one Cub some kind of strange locating radar develops within to find more.

Gary:

G'day to you :!:

Congrats on deciding to purchase a Cub for your Truck Garden. As you may already know the Cub was designed for that type of operation and remains to this day one of the best tractors for the job :!:

As you look for a Cub, please take the time to get familiar with them and to learn what to look for when purchasing one. The links below will be of use both in the search, negotiations, purchase and use/maintenance of your Cub when you bring it home.

The CBoK - In The Library has some good info, the following being most relevant to you at this point. Don't limit yourself to just that thread though, do check out the other articles in that chapter.
